We found a roof leak and got in contact with Marc. He responded right away and set up a time to come out early the next day. He diagnosed the cause and knocked out the repair same day. He is professional, knowledgeable, takes pride in his work and friendly. So glad we got in touch with Marc!

Marc is the absolute best!! He is so knowledgeable and his work is absolutely top-notch. About a month ago he replaced a section of roofing where we were having a leak. Perfectly done... particularly ensuring a good seal around the skylight. He also put down plywood sheathing, which believe it or not was never installed at all by any of our previous roofers. Highly recommended... if you want your job to be done right no cutting corners, Marc is the guy. And not the most expensive shop in town.

During recent rainy weather water began coming out of the ceiling around a light fixture near one of our skylights. Assuming the skylight was leaking, we called Marc at 1st Response and he dropped everything and came over within 30 minutes. He then inspected the skylight, explained how the flashing system is supposed to work, determined it was fine, and found the real source of the leak which was broken seal around a ventilation pipe. He then did not even want to charge us because the job was so small! We have worked with 1st Response for many years and Marc continues to impress with his attention to detail and his complete dedication to doing things the right way and solving the right problems. I have worked with Marc twice now for roof upgrades and repairs. The first was to install vents needed for proper venting needed with a WHF install. He did the work to figure out the best vents based on my roof type, and the proper number and location of each for airflow. He gave me great advice on monitoring with Govees, and followed up to make sure we were seeing improvement with heat dissipation. Recently he came out again to fix siding at our roofline that had been ripped off by a raccoon (most likely). Marc with 1st Response Roofing takes his time to get to know the problem and offers a variety of solutions based on the need, and then follows up to confirm success. I would definitely recommend 1st Response Roofing for any roof work needing to be done. No job is too big or too small.
