Acceptable Use Policy
Effective November 1, 2025. This policy sets out how the INDEXIS platform may and may not be used. It applies to all users, including businesses, agency partners, and portal users.
1. Accurate information
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy, currency, and lawfulness of information they submit. You must not submit false, misleading, deceptive, or intentionally incomplete information about a business, its services, credentials, service areas, or availability.
2. Content restrictions
You must not submit or publish content that:
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Promotes illegal goods, services, or activity.
- Contains malware, spam, or deceptive links.
- Impersonates another business or misrepresents affiliation.
3. No manipulation of AI systems
You must not use the platform to attempt to manipulate, deceive, or game AI systems, search engines, or reviewers, including through prompt injection, fabricated reviews, cloaked content, or the submission of keyword-stuffed content designed to distort recommendations.
4. Platform integrity
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the platform or its infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code except as permitted by law.
- Scrape or bulk-export data other than through published, authorized methods.
5. Communications
Communications sent through or generated by the platform must comply with applicable laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and must respect recipient consent and unsubscribe requests.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to law enforcement.
